Road Ready Foundation

The only thing between you and the road are your tires.

At Road Ready Foundation, our vision is to create a world where individuals, families, and communities embrace tire safety as a fundamental aspect of responsible road behavior.

Our Story

On February 10, 2023, our family and community experienced an unimaginable loss after a tragic car accident. Jackson (our son, brother, and friend) was a passenger in the car and wearing a seatbelt. Although the driver was traveling under the speed limit given the inclement weather that day, the car hydroplaned and collided with an 18- wheeler. The police report indicated that the cause of the hydroplaning and overall accident was due to extremely worn tires with insufficient tread.

Now, more than ever, we are committed to educating ourselves and our community on the importance of tire safety. Through education and tire-specific programs and initiatives, our goal is for more drivers to make informed decisions about tire care and maintenance.

The Three I's

A simple, yet effective, mantra to help drivers remember the key steps in tire safety.
The only thing between you and the road are your tires.

Inspect

Regular tire inspections help identify potential issues such as wear, damage, and irregularities. This includes tread depth, proper tire inflation, sidewall and valve stem inspection, wheel alignment, and more.

Inflate

Proper inflation ensures optimal driving performance, fuel efficiency, and safety. Air pressure needs to be adjusted regularly based on the manufacturer's recommended specifications. Adequate tire pressure ensures safe vehicle handling and traction, optimal braking performance, and helps prevent tire blowouts.

Install

Proper installation enhances optimal performance, and timely replacement of worn or damaged tires ensures overall safety.
