At Road Ready Foundation, our mission is to save lives on our roadways through crash prevention by educating young and experienced drivers on tire safety and roadside safety education. We are committed to doing our part to prevent tragic car crashes, fatalities, and injuries due to unsafe tires and unsafe roadside behavior. Join us in our mission to save lives through awareness, education, and advocacy.
Our Story
On February 10, 2023, our family and community experienced an unimaginable loss after a tragic car crash. Jackson (our son, brother, and friend) was a passenger in the car and wearing a seatbelt. Although the driver was traveling under the speed limit given the inclement weather that day, the car hydroplaned and collided with an 18- wheeler. The police report indicated that the cause of the hydroplaning and overall crash was due to extremely worn tires with insufficient tread.
Now, more than ever, we are committed to educating ourselves and our community on the importance of tire safety and roadside safety. Through education and tire-specific programs and initiatives, our goal is for more drivers to make informed decisions about tire care and maintenance.

The 100 days between Memorial Day and Labor Day known as the "100 Deadliest Days" are the most dangerous time of year for teen drivers. In support of the National Road Safety Foundation's "100 Safest Days of Summer" initiative, Road Ready Foundation is helping educate young drivers on the importance of tire safety, vehicle maintenance, and responsible driving habits to reduce preventable crashes and keep our roads safer.
